Chief Sampson Peri Okonny, was a renowned teacher and educationalist, he was a supervisor of primary schools for Ahoada area. 

Chief Sampson Peri Okonny (Dr Monday Okonny's father), was a renowned teacher and educationalist, graduated from one of the first teachers training colleges in the then Eastern Region.

Mr Wilberforce Edward Alagoa, Master of the Brisitsh Empire,  (father of Mrs Ebi Okonny),  was a reknowed Science Teacher and educationist. He ontained the London Interscience Diploma in 1935.
